Aluminum die casting, with its advantages of high efficiency, high precision, and low cost, has become the core manufacturing process for lightweight components in industries such as automobiles and electronics. The production process is interrelated, and every step from mold design to demolding directly affects product quality and production efficiency.
Mold design is the foundation of aluminum die-casting, and two key points need to be focused on: first, the design of the parting surface, which should avoid critical precision areas of the product, ensure tight mold fit, and reduce the occurrence of burrs; The second is the layout of the sprue and exhaust system. The sprue needs to ensure smooth filling of the mold cavity with aluminum liquid to avoid turbulent air entrainment. The exhaust groove should be set at the end of the mold cavity to timely discharge the air and exhaust gas inside the mold cavity and prevent porosity defects in the die-casting parts. At the same time, the mold material needs to be H13 hot work mold steel, which has been quenched and tempered to improve its high temperature resistance and wear resistance, and extend its service life.
Parameter control is crucial in the aluminum die-casting process in Dalian. The temperature of the aluminum liquid needs to be adjusted according to the alloy model. For example, the suitable temperature for ADC12 alloy is 650-680 ℃. If the temperature is too low, it is easy to cause insufficient filling, and if it is too high, it will increase the risk of shrinkage porosity in the casting; The injection speed is divided into slow injection and fast injection stages. In the slow injection stage, the speed needs to be controlled at 0.3-0.5m/s to avoid splashing of aluminum liquid, while in the fast injection stage, it needs to be increased to 2-5m/s to ensure that the aluminum liquid quickly fills the mold cavity.
Demoulding treatment determines the quality of product molding. After the completion of Dalian aluminum die-casting, it is necessary to control the mold opening speed to avoid mold sticking or deformation of the casting due to excessive speed; At the same time, it is necessary to select release agents reasonably. Water soluble release agents are environmentally friendly and easy to clean, suitable for precision parts production. When used, they should be evenly sprayed with a thickness controlled at 5-10 μ m to ensure smooth release and avoid affecting the surface accuracy of castings. Mastering these core points can significantly improve the production efficiency and product qualification rate of aluminum die-casting.
